Looking for some family-friendly fun this weekend? Take a trip to Bluffton for the 8th annual Boiled Peanut Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 2:00-7:00 p.m.!
You can expect a day filled with fiddle music, food, drinks, and of course: all you can eat boiled peanuts! Also, don’t forget to get your picture taken with the world’s largest boiled peanut which will be on display.
The festival will also feature a boiled peanut cook-off where contestants will compete for the coveted title of “Best Nuts in Town.” The 2019 categories include traditional, spicy, and creative. To enter your peanuts in the competition, visit heritagepeanuts.com/2019festival.
Fiddle music will range from country to bluegrass to modern hits performed by local artists from 3:00-7:00 p.m. There will also be competitions held throughout the day for the kids! Beer, soft drinks, water, and D’Amici Pizza will be sold onsite.
