Wagener Terrace Oyster Roast and BBQ

East Cooper Meals on Wheels Oyster Roast

Location: Palmetto Islands County Park

Enjoy fresh, local oysters, plus live music from The Shakin’ Martinis Band, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, BBQ, hot dogs and other delicious treats. Proceeds will support daily meal delivery to our homebound residents in Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, Daniel Island, Cainhoy, and Wando.

Fields to Families 10th Annual Roast

Date: Sunday, January 19, 2020

Lighthouse Oyster Roast

All you can eat oysters, pulled pork sandwiches and other tasty food, beer and wine. Live music from Band of Oz and a chance to win great raffle prizes. Lowcountry Oyster Festival

The world’s largest oyster festival, this one has been named as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast by the Southeastern Tourism Society. Event includes the legendary “Oyster Shucking” and “Oyster Eating” contests, live music on the main stage, wine and local beer, a variety of food options from local restaurants and food trucks, and products available for purchase from Red Clay Hot Sauce. Kids will love the elevated Pluff-a-Pallooza Children’s Areas, offering activities such as jump castles, cookie decorating, a “Sweetgrass Palace” and more. This year, local chefs will partner with several local oyster farms to present guests with their favorite version of the beloved oyster, in an all new Locals Tent.

Charleston Museum's Annual Oyster Roast at the Dill Sanctuary
