The fifth annual Black Ink Festival starts this January! The Festival supports and celebrates diversity. It amplifies the voices of black authors and exposes the public new perspectives. From January 14th through January 16th you’ll have the chance to hear from different kinds of writers: Fiction, Non-fiction, YA, and even poets!
Black Ink goes online this year to provide you with all new, virtual events. Authors from the Lowcountry and beyond will hold workshops and panels over the course of three days. Attend workshops on writing, publishing, and marketing! Or listen to authors read from their own works. Ask questions, and find new books you want to read! Also, New York Times bestselling author Kwame Mbalia is a featured presenter and keynote. There are events planned for morning, evening, and night. So no matter when you can sit down in front of your computer, there will be something for you to do!
