EVO Pizzeria and The Brew Cellar are will be hosting the 4th Annual Park Circle Oktoberfest in North Charleston, at Riverfront Park on September 28th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The festival is a free, all-ages event featuring local food and beverages, vendors, live music, and the scenic view running alongside the Cooper River. All beer and food throughout the main event will be purchase as you go, so come enjoy the environment and choose your level of participation.
In addition to award-winning brews and unique selections at multiple stations, the breweries are bringing releases for a unique specialty beer tent with vintage brews and special one-offs. Wine and Cider will also be available for purchase.
New to the event this year is the SC Brewers Guild Tent. This inclusive event is separate and ticketed providing you with unlimited samplings of over 20 different brewers from across the state. Purchase tickets online before they run out!
Mayor Keith Summey and North Charleston City Council will be discussing future development in North Charleston and leading a traditional Dedication of the Taps. Oktoberfest competitions will include a stein hoist, beer mile, keg rolls, and farmers carry all presented by Fly Dog Fitness. In addition, Blade and Bull axe throwing will be on-site. Local vendors and crafters will line the river with specialty items for sale.
Guests can expect food vendors from the Lowcountry to whip up traditional German fare and some of their classics that everyone has come to know and love. Food vendors include EVO Pizzeria, Lewis Barbeque, Baker and Brewer, Street Bird Westside, Roti Rolls, Graze Charleston, Lola and Krystyna’s Polish. All food options are pay-as-you-go.
NBS will present live music from local bands “Josh Roberts and Friends” and “Red Cedar Review”, as well as “Royal Tinfoil.” Park Circle Oktoberfest is sponsored by Southern Eagle Distributing, Links Apartments, and the South Carolina Brewers Guild
