Dive into Baby Shark Week!

Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo…

The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry has officially announced the week of August 11, Baby Shark Week! Pop in all week long to create your own shark-themed crafts or participate in one of their special activities. These events are free with Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry membership or admission. See full schedule below:

Sunday, August 11:
10am – 12pm: SuperStars
Children with special needs and their families are invited to play in the museum before opening hours. For Baby Shark Week, we’ll be creating an Ocean Sensory Bottle!
3:30 p.m.: Brown Bag STEM Challenge
Make a Shark Trap! This trap must be able to hold water to keep a shark safe for research, rehabilitation, and release.

Monday, August 12:
3 p.m.: Full STEAM Ahead
You’re invited to participate in creating a special ocean bottle and explore density.

Tuesday, August 13:
10:30 a.m.: Art Room Surprise
This week in the Art Room, we’re making our very own shark hats, adding to the Suncatcher Shark and creating/drawing a special something to add to the Shark Mural.
2 p.m.: Let’s Move!
Join us for a Baby Shark Flash Mob and dance party.

Wednesday, August 14:
3:30 p.m.: Brown Bag STEM Challenge
