Find the perfect pumpkin at patches all over the Lowcountry

The countdown to Halloween is on, but there’s still plenty of time to get out and load up on pumpkins this weekend. There’s a pumpkin patch you can check out no matter where you live. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch
Hwy 17, Mount Pleasant
Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday every weekend in October. Hours: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 12-6 p.m. Sunday

The Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch might feel a little different this year, but it’s just as great as ever. Visitors will enjoy the Drive-Through Halloween Trail, allowing you to stay in your vehicle and still view all the exciting scenes with creatures ad colorful displays along the way. You can also explore the corn maze (socially distanced, of course) and pick out the perfect pumpkin for your family. The trail drive and corn maze are available for only $10 per vehicle.

Hibben United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
690 Coleman Blvd., Mount Pleasant
Open 7 days a week. Hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 12-7 p.m. Sunday

Pumpkins of all sizes available. Funds raised are used to support the various missions of Hibben UMC.

Hometown Roots Farm Fall Festival
1640 Calamus Pond Rd., Summerville
Open Tuesday- Sunday until November 1. Hours: 4-8 Tuesday through Thursday, 4-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday

Experience way more than just pumpkins at the Hometown Roots Farm Fall Festival. Enjoy hay rides, kids train rides, live pig races, petting zoo, farm animal feeding, farm crop table, kiddie maze and play area, camp fires with s’mores, fall photo props, an AgVenture area, live music, arts & crafts and much, much more!

John Wesley United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch

Open 7 days a week. Hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, 12-8 p.m. Sunday

Pumpkins of all sizes available. Funds help support youth missions.

The Pumpkin Patch at Mistletoe Lane
3408 Mistletow Ln., Summerville
Hours: 9 am.-8 p.m. most days, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Sunday
The Pumpkin Patch has something for the whole family! Get all kinds of pumpkins, flowers, firewood and much more.

St. James United Methodist Pumpkin Patch
512 St. James Ave., Goose Creek
Open 7 days a week through October 31st. Hours: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Funds support the missions and ministries of the church and other local and global missions.

Open Wednesday through Sunday until November 1st. Hours; 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 10 a.m.- 7 p.m. Sundays

Go get lost at the corn maze! Aside from pumpkins, you can also enjoy a children’s area, animal viewing, hay rides, photo ops, an apple slingshot, snack bar and picnic area.
