One of the Lowcountry’s biggest music events is taking over Riverfront Park in North Charleston April 18-19 and the lineup has just been released!
Nathaniel Rateliff and the festival’s curators, Shovels and Rope will headline the first night. Wilco and Brittany Howard are the big names on the bill on Sunday. Other confirmed acts include Andrew Bird, Drive-By Truckers, Angel Olsen, Delta Spirit, Mavis Stapleton, Rufus Wainwright, Sharon Van Etten, Wilder Woods, Liz Cooper & the Stampede, Seratones, Cedric Burnside, Palm Palm, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, Strand of Oaks, The Felice Brothers, Shannon & The Clams, Indianola and She Returns from War.
The High Water Festival is in its fourth year of bringing big names in indie rock, but it’s more than just the music that draws a crowd. In between shows, fans can stop by The Market to grab some handmade local crafts and band merch. Or hit The Refuge for a bite from local and regional restaurants and pull up a seat at The Porch to sample some great craft brews. You can also learn how to shuck and enjoy the perfect oyster in an Oyster Education Class taught by Seaborn Oyster Co.
Weekend Passes are on sale now and start at $99 for students and $160 for general admission.
