A Lowcountry Christmas tradition won’t be cancelled due to COVID19. The Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park will still shine bright this season, with some modifications. Charleston County Parks made the announcement today on Facebook.
“We’re excited to announce that the Holiday Festival of Lights will happen this year! It may not look exactly like the festival you’ve known and loved for over 30 years, but the pandemic-related precautions we’re putting in place won’t put a damper on the holiday spirit. Now more than ever, we need to create merry, magical memories. Stay tuned for details!”
Holiday Festival of Lights typically opens in November and welcomes guests every evening through December 31st. Watch this space for more information on plans for 2020!
