A telethon to bring hope to the homeless

Tune in today from noon to 8 p.m. for a special telethon raising money for the Homeless to Hope Fund. Created by the Palmetto Project in February 2016, the fund provides support to community organizations and those who assist the people transitioning out of homelessness. You can watch the stream and donate online or their Facebook page.

There are over 1,600 men, women and children in the Lowcountry who are unsheltered or engaged in housing supports. The Homeless to Hope Fund works with a network of service providers as part of the Lowcountry Continuum of Care to address their needs. They also work toward long-term plans to reduce homelessness and address the unique needs of individuals.
