How to make a Purple Rain Margarita

Ever seen purple rain?

The Oyster House’s Purple Rain Margarita

Green or Purple?

The Oyster House in downtown Charleston, located on 35 S. Market Street, has a special take on the margarita. No run-of-the-mill, sticky-sweet frozen green concoction here. The Oyster House makes a “souped up” purple margarita called “Purple Rain.”

Purple Rain Margarita

1 ½ oz. Espolon Blanco

1 oz. St. Germain

Splash of Simple Syrup

1 ½ oz. Lime Juice

1 oz. Cointreau

Topped with Butterfly Pea Flower

So, if you want to try a perfect dozen of their steamed oysters, visit the Oyster House, and finish it off with their signature Purple Rain Margarita. The Oyster House will be participating in the Lowcountry Oyster Festival Sunday, January 27 at Boone Hall Plantation.
