Come join in the fun at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry March 7th when Kalamata’s Kitchen hosts a “Kids Tasting Tour”. The event will feature kid-sized bites and surprises throughout, with chefs from around Charleston pitching in to provide the eats. Each kid will get a Food Adventure Passport and every time they try a new food, they earn a “stamp” for their passport.
Restaurants offering samples include Stella’s, Xia Bao, Lewis Barbecue, Leon’s Oyster Shop and more.
Kalamata’s Kitchen has a mission to help kids learn about new culture through adventures with food. They host kid tasting tour events throughout the U.S., giving children a chance to be curious and courageous as they try new foods and learn unique perspectives from celebrated chefs. These events are a cornerstone of the team’s belief that kids who are curious and courageous with food will develop empathy and nurture a passion for giving back.
The event is in conjunction with the Charleston Wine + Food Festival. What a fun way for kids and families to create new food memories together!
The tour is free with price of admission to the museum. To RSVP, click here!
