Mt. Pleasant’s Moonlite drive-in is open

Moonlite Theater is now bringing live music, favorite blockbusters and food trucks to Mount Pleasant. Located on the corner of U.S. Highway 17 and Johnnie Dodds Boulevard,  The Moonlite is a safe, ‘socially distant’ outdoor experience with movies on a giant outdoor screen.

Showings will initially be held on Friday and Saturday. Gates open and the food trucks start serving at 6 p.m. Live music will start between 7-7:30 p.m., and the show starts at dark.  Times are subject to change after Daylight Savings Time.

Friday, September 18, in honor of Captain Wayne Magwood, local shrimper and legend, Moonlite Theaters will screen Forrest Gump, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SC Seafood Alliance in Magwood’s name. Saturday, September 19 will feature The Italian Job.

All tickets must be purchased in advance. To buy your ticket, check out upcoming attractions and more, visit the Moonlite Theaters website.  For additional information, call 843-834-0178 or email contact@moonlitetheaters.com.
