Salt-N-Pepa will headline Famously Hot New Year this year, Columbia’s free, annual New Years Eve Party.
Salt-N-Pepa were the first female rap duo to win a Grammy and earn a platinum status. Make your way to Columbia to hear them perform hits like “Push It,” “Shoop,” “What a Man,” and more. They have sold nearly 12 million albums and helped shape the world of hip-hop.
Salt-N-Pepa will be performing from 6:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. to bring in the new year. The stage will be placed at the intersection of Main St. and Gervais St. in front of the S.C. State House.
This will be the 9th year of Famously Hot New Year, South Carolina’s largest New Year’s Eve party. The celebration includes South Carolina’s largest fireworks display, food from local vendors, beer, wine, and bubbly.
