You won’t have to wait for Second Sunday anymore to get your food-truck fix. Charleston’s very own food truck village is opening up downtown on Monday, Sept. 30!
What use to be the Bi-Lo parking lot, is now home to Meeting Street Eats. The lot will be transformed into a space where people can park, sit, and hang out while they enjoy a bite to eat from one of the available food trucks. Also, furry-friends are welcome!
The food truck village is modeled after ones that can be found in Austin, Texas.
Think lobster rolls, fried chicken, mac n cheese, waffles, you name it– you might be able to find it at Meeting Street Eats. The food trucks will change regularly and there will be three to six of them on site during operating hours.
Meeting Street Eats is located at 445 Meeting Street and it will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. Follow the Meeting Street Eats Facebook and Instagram for news on what food trucks will be dropping in each day! For further information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
