A holiday tradition returns to the Lowcountry this holiday season! The Holiday Festival of Lights will light up James Island County Park beginning Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m.! The last day of the festival is Dec. 31.
You can drive through the park and experience over two million lights and seven hundred light displays of all shapes and sizes. Also, remember to tune into 1630 AM for special holiday music to go with the lights!
After viewing the lights, guests can park their cars and enjoy other festivities! The Holiday Festival of lights also has gift shops, roasting marshmallows, a festival train, and a carousel. There will also be music on select nights.
Monday through Thursday, bring a canned food item for donation to the Lowcountry Food Bank, and you get five dollars off your admission fee.
Don’t forget to stop by and visit Santa too! From Nov. 27 to Dec. 23, visiting Santa is free! Also, you can get your photo taken with Santa by Coleman Photography for an additional fee. Santa is around Sunday-Thursday from 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
The Festival of lights cost twenty dollars per vehicle with up to fifteen people allowed per vehicle.
