What’s new at the Coastal Carolina Fair?

The Coastal Carolina Fair kicked off in 1957. It’s a South Carolina tradition, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still adding new things to make it even better! This year, there are plenty of new and exciting things to look forward to.

Extreme Zone

Looking for a few extra thrills? You’re in luck! The Coastal Carolina Fair added the “Extreme Zone” this year. Daredevil adults have the chance to ride SPEED in the extreme zone. There is also a bungee for kids and a rock wall! Rides in the Extreme Zone are not included with your wristband. SPEED costs $10, and the kid bungee and rock wall cost $5. The new addition will be open everyday of the fair.

Beer Garden

The Coastal Carolina Fair has added a beer garden to their list of attractions this year! The family-friendly space is located at the fairgrounds new open-air pavilion! Beer Garden visitors can purchase a limited number of craft brews, beer and wine. Anyone is welcome inside the space, but only patrons 21 and over can purchase alcohol. Food will be available as well!

Golf Cart Giveaway

Have you ever imagined yourself cruising around in a golf cart? This year at the fair, you will have the chance to make that dream a reality! There will be a raffle for a 2020 Yamaha PTV golf cart! Here’s how it will work:

  • You can register at the fairgrounds until Nov. 7
  • 10 entries will be picked a day and entered in the grand prize drawing
  • The golf cart will be given away on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m.
  • Winner does not have to be present to win!
