Party like it’s 2022! Where to celebrate New Years Eve in the Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, SC (Lowcountry Weekend) - It’s time to celebrate the beginning of a new year. Here’s a list of where you can party like it’s 2022 across the Lowcountry. Tickets to some events may be limited, so check ahead before you head out!

Downtown Charleston

Bourbon N’ Bubbles, King Street- Enjoy two venues, live DJs, heavy hors d’oevres, dessert platters, party favors and an open bar (limitaions apply) from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Individual tickets start at $135, Buy tickets here.

Charleston NYE Bar Crawl- Charleston’s number 1 New Year’s Eve bar crawl for the last 6 years. Get a wristband and get into 4-6 bars for free. Participating bars include The Brick (buffet at 6:30 p.m.) AC’s Bar and Grill, Cocktail Club, Dudley’s, Proof and John King Grill. Tickets start at $35 and include drink tickets, an appetizer buffet, photo booth and back drop for photos, champagne toast, live music, DJs, VIP viewing of the ball drop, drink and food specials.

Emeline Roaring 20′s New Years Eve Gala- Hotel Emeline, Church Street- Ring in the new year roaring 20′s style! Enjoy live music, dancing in the ballroom, apps and a champagne toast. Tickets are $175 and can be purchased here.

Uncork’s Annual New Years Eve Bash- Uncork, King Street- Food and drink to purchase, including over 40 wines on tap, funky 4-piece live band, no pretension, just a good time! Tickets are just $20. Learn more here.

The Watch, The Restoration- Ring in the new year at The Watch at the The Restoration with a specialty prix fixe menu, a glass of champagne and a countdown to midnight. More information here.

Folly Beach

Flip Flop Drop & Fireworks- The Famous Flip Flop Drop will close down Center Street. Enjoy local restaurants, family friendly activities, the sparkly flip flop drop and fireworks over the beach. More info here.

The Washout - Rock and Roll into the new year at The Washout with their NYE Jam December 31st! Campbell Brown & Josh Roberts will be playing live from 8-11 pm, so you can dance the night away as you prepare to watch the giant flip-flops drop at the stroke of midnight. Click here for details.

New Year’s Eve by the Sea, Lawrence’s Seafood Company- Spend New Year’s Eve by the sea with live music, top shelf open bar, a huge food buffet, champagne toast at midnight and party favors. Tickets are $99 and must be purchased in advance here.

Family Friendly New Years Eve, Tattooed Moose- Join the folks at the Tattooed Moose for their free annual Family Friendly New Year’s Eve Party featuring live music, an early ball drop and fireworks. More information here.

New Year’s Family Celebration, Night Heron Park- Ring in 2022 with friends, family, fireworks and entertainment. Full a la cart dinner service available until 9 p.m. Plus, enjoy jump castles, lawn games and party favors. This event runs 5:30-9 p.m. and is suitable for families and groups of all ages.
