Girl Scout cookies are back and there are two brand new flavors

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Let your sweet tooth rejoice! Girl Scout cookies are back and they’re bringing two new flavors to your taste buds this cookie season. With a promise of adventure in every bite, Adventurefuls® is an indulgent brownie-inspired cookie with caramel flavored creme and a hint of sea salt. If you’re looking for something a little more simple, Toast-yay may be just what you’re after. It’s french inspired, toast shaped shortbread cookie with a hint of cinnamon, dipped in a vanilla frosting. These delicious new flavors will be on the menu with all of your favorites like Thin Mints®, Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties® and Lemonades®.

Last year, local Girl Scouts sold an average of 448 boxes of delicious cookies each. Anyone who sold over 4,000 boxes was rewarded with a cruise to the Bahamas! If you know a local Girl Scout, now is the time to reach out for your sweet fix. If you don’t, no worries! You can still place your order. Beginning on January 15, you can go to www.girscoutcookies.org to find a booth near you and purchase cookies for a local troop. If you’re feeling extra sweet, you can also use the link to donate cookies to first responders and local causes.
