CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - The Southeast Wildlife Exposition is celebrating its 40th year with 3 full days of exhibits and experiences. NEW in 2022 are these unique SEWE experiences you don’t want to miss.
- TV personality, nature conservationist and author Jeff Corwin makes his first SEWE since 2019, with live presentations on Friday, Feb. 18th and Saturday, Feb. 19th. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
- See how the US Coast Guard Search & Rescue team protects our waterways with a special live demonstration in the waters off the Ashley River at Brittlebank Park on Feb. 19th at 1pm.
- Sporting dog demonstrations with the Wildrose British Labrador pack will be conducted at Brittlebank Park Friday, Feb. 18th and Saturday, Feb 19th at 11:30am and 3:30pm and on Sunday, Feb 20th at 11:30am and 2pm. Meet the Labradors and get pro tips from their trainers.
- Experience Quail Village at Brittlebank Park, led by the South Carolina Bobwhite Initiative, which is dedicated to reversing the decline of the quail’s population.
