Charleston Beer Fest is back for 2022

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Charleston Beer Fest announced its return for 2022.

The festival for Lowcountry beer lovers is scheduled for Oct. 22 at Riverfront Park.

Festival-goers will find regional brews, a homebrewers competition, live music, food trucks and games.

The 2021 edition of the festival was postponed because of a spike in COVID-19 cases.

“Palmetto Community Care is excited we can bring back Charleston Beer Festival this year to celebrate regional breweries and businesses and bring the community together after a 2-year hiatus,” Bradley Childs, Chief Executive Officer of Palmetto Community Care, said. “The proceeds from Beer Fest, celebrating its tenth year, will go to expand medical services and help the community, which is something I think we can all raise a glass to.”

Charleston Beer Fest benefits Palmetto Community Care and tickets can be purchased from the festival’s website.
