Uncle Sam Jam

Mon., July 4, 7-10 p.m. @ Mount Pleasant Pier

Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Mount Pleasant Pier while dancing and listening to live music from Dave Landeo & The Sol Beats. This is an excellent venue for viewing firework displays throughout the Lowcountry. Live music starts at 7:30 p.m. Event is expected to sell out, so purchase tickets early! Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 the day of the event. Get tickets now.

Dancing on the Cooper: The Coppertones

Sat., July 9, 7-10:30 p.m. @ Mount Pleasant Pier

Enjoy scenic views of the Charleston Harbor while dancing to live classic oldies and beach music from The Coppertones. Live music starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 the day of the event. Get tickets now.

Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series Race #3

Sun., Jul. 10, 7-11 a.m. @ James Island County Park

This landmark, five-race series includes a 600-yard swim, a 12-mile bike ride, and a 5K run. Participants are divided into: Open / Elite, Age Group and Masters, Clydesdale (men 220 pounds or greater under the age of 40), Masters Clydesdale (men 220 pounds or greater over the age of 40), and Athena (women 165 pounds or greater). Reggae Nights Summer Concert

Relax and enjoy traditional old school roots reggae with a new school attitude from Crucial Fiya in the beautiful outdoor setting of James Island County Park. Inclusive Swim Night

People with disabilities and their families are invited to an unforgettable night at your waterpark! Enjoy all the fun of the waterpark, including the lazy river, slides, and pool, in a sensory-friendly environment. Tickets are $7 for ages 3 & up and free for ages 2 & under. Get tickets now.

Evening in the Park

Wed., July 20, 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Wed., July 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m. @ Dunes House at Folly Beach County Park

Spend a relaxing evening outside enjoying the beauty of Folly Beach County Park. Join us at the Dunes House for a fun evening of live music, drinks, and a beautiful sunset. The snack bar will be open with a variety of menu options. Alcohol will be available for purchase. A valid ID is required for alcohol purchase. This is an all ages show that is free with park admission.

Youth Triathlon

Sat., Jul. 30, 7:15-11:15 a.m. @ James Island County Park

Young athletes of all abilities and fitness levels, from ages 7-15, are invited to join us for a triathlon at James Island County Park. Participants ages 7-10 will complete a 100-yard swim, 3-mile bike, and a 1-mile run. Participants ages 11-15 will complete a 200-yard swim, 6-mile bike, and a 2-mile run. The entry fee is $50.

Dancing on the Cooper: Wet Nose Dogs

Sat., July 30, 7-10:30 p.m. @ Mount Pleasant Pier

Enjoy scenic views of the Charleston Harbor while dancing and listening to live music from Wet Nose Dogs. Their blues take on the genres of Country, Rock, R&B, Southern Rock, Pop, and Hip Hop has broken outside of the traditional box and perfectly embodies the genre of eclectic soul with a southern twist.
