BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - If you live in Berkeley County and haven’t visited Cypress Gardens, there’s an extra reason to change that this Saturday.
All Berkeley County residents and their dependents will receive free park admission with proof of residency such as a photo ID or a utility or tax bil.
Normal admission is $10 for adults, $6.50 for adults 65 and older, 911 or Military personnel, and $5.00 for children 6 to 17 years old. Children 5 and younger get in free.
Click here to visit the park’s official website for more information.
The park, open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., has been a popular spot to visit since 1932.
The films “The Notebook” and “The Patriot” shot scenes at the park.
Cypress Gardens scheduled three Free Saturdays in 2022. The first was in July. Your next chance to visit free will be Dec. 17.
