CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - The Charleston Wine + Food Festival is still months away, but the excitement is building for next year’s festival.
This year’s festival runs March 1-5 around downtown Charleston and at North Charleston’s Riverfront Park.
Tickets are on sale now at charlestonwineandfood.com.
The event features local and guest chefs, as well as wine and beer experts, artists and more. Organizers say they have a lot of plans for this year’s festival.

“This is a homegrown event. It really is a local festival that has created a platform on a national scale, and it’s an opportunity for us to boast about all the great things that we have here in Charleston. Our food scene, our beverage scene, and really put on a world-class experience right here in our backyard,” Interim Executive Director Alyssa Maute Smith said
