Hayrides, music and food: Get ready for Charleston Co. Parks’ 2022 Harvest Festival

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Charleston County Parks is hosting its 2022 Harvest Festival at Johns Island County Park.

This year’s festival is from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday.

The festival is known for showcasing local bluegrass talent and has local bands playing all day long.

The 2022 lineup features:

  • YeeHaw Junction
  • Gravel Road
  • The Blue Plantation Road
  • Watt’s Brothers
  • Cane Creek String Band

The festival will also feature a crafters’ market with handmade crafts from local vendors.

What fall festival is complete without a feast? Food will be available to purchase at the event including barbeque, kettle corn and other festival fares.

This year’s festival has lots of fun activities for kids with hayrides, pumpkin decorating and fall crafts. Kids between ages 8 and 17 can also enter an archery turkey shoot with male and female winners taking home frozen turkeys.

Admission to the festival is $10 or free for gold pass members and children under 12. Eventgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating. Dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed.
