Charleston Boat Show sails into town this weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Experience over 85 different boat brands and 130 exhibitors at the Charleston Boat Show Friday through Sunday at the Charleston Area Convention Center Complex.

The annual event features activities for the whole family including Captain Dave Mariano of Wicked Tuna, Captain Don Dingman’s “Hook the Future” Kids Fishing Clinics, and the SCDNR Virtual Trainer where you can learn about docking, mooring, pivot turns, and more on a virtual waterway.

There will also be live music all weekend, a food truck rodeo and bars providing a full array of spirits and non-alcoholic beverages and face painting for the kids on Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m.

The Charleston Boat Show opens Friday from noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults on-line only; $14 at the door; $10 for seniors over 65 and military with ID; and $6 for children ages 4 to 12.
