West Ashley pub gears up for St. Patrick’s Day party

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - As St. Patrick’s Day draws near, an Irish pub in West Ashley is getting reading to host its “Shamrockin” party.

The party will start at noon on March 17 at Ireland’s Own, located on Ashley Town Center Drive.

The restaurant says you can feast away on corned beef and cabbage and fish and chips served all day long. You can also try some Irish whiskey with tastings scheduled throughout the day.

Live music starts at noon with Equal Rights, and then Finn Barr plays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

If you feel like moving, check out dancing from traditional Irish dancers from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and more live music from Andrew Beam from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day will be held on March 17.
