Woofstock returns to Hanahan Amphitheater Saturday

HANAHAN, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Food trucks, vendors, music and dogs are returning to Hanahan to benefit local pet shelters and rescues.

Woofstock takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Saturday at the Hanahan Amphitheater.

The dog-friendly, family-friendly festival will feature performances from DRIVIN N CRYIN, Mark Bryan from Hootie and the Blowfish, one32west, Bennett Coleman, Jared Petteys & the Headliners and Kate Vera.

Looking for a dog? Ten local shelters will be on hand with adoptable dogs. The vendor village will have local artisans and dog businesses plus activities for children.

A collection of food trucks will be on hand to fill your stomach with food while your ears are filled with music. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available. No outside food or drink is allowed.

The festival, back for a fourth year, benefits Pet Helpers, Dorchester Paws, Berkeley Animal Center, Eunoia Rescue, Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue, Libby and Mace’s Place, All 4 Paws, Save the Clefts and Carolina Boxer Rescue.

Advance tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.woofstockmusicfest.com, tickets can also be purchased for $50 at the gate. Kids aged 12 and under are free.
