Brunch festival and oyster roast: Things to do in the Lowcountry this weekend

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - The Charleston Wine Festival is hosting its annual Charleston Brunch Festival this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Johnson Hagood Stadium at The Citadel.

Dashi, Wicked Waffles, Brunch punch, mimosas, silent disco and live music by Davis & The Love will all be featured at this year’s festival.

General admission tickets are $50 which includes all drinks until 3:45 p.m. but excludes food. The first 500 tickets sold online will only be $35.

Oyster Roast season is not over just yet. We have another oyster roast you can attend this Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. at The Whale in downtown Charleston on Meeting Street.

Tha Community Brew & JonWalker Enterprize will provide unlimited buckets but limited shuckers so you might want to bring your own. This oyster events purpose is to meet people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds by networking. This event promises good food, food trucks and feel free to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the LowCountry Food Bank and other charities.

Rain or shine, Firefly Distillery will have their final oyster roasts this Sunday to end their oyster roast series. The roast will kick off at 12 p.m. and will run through 4 p.m. Beverages are available for purchase until 5 p.m. and tickets for this event are $25 for adults and $12.50 for kids. Children two and under are free and make sure to bring blankets and chairs with you.
