CHARLESTON, S.C. (Lowcountry Weekend) - Book lovers and bargain hunters are in for a real treat when the Charleston Friends of the Library (CFOL) returns to host its annual That BIG Book Sale presented by Crews Subaru. The Sale’s 41st year will be held this weekend May 19 through 21 at the Omar Shrine Auditorium, located at 176 Patriots Point Road, Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
Their largest fundraiser of the year, the public can expect over 60,000 books in all categories including children’s, fiction, history, cooking, gardening, foreign language, classics, and more, all on sale with many priced as low as just $1. For the price of one movie ticket or one new hardback or paperback book, shoppers can walk out with a bag full of books and goodies that they can enjoy over and over again, or pass on to a friend all while benefiting the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL).

Members Only Pre-Sale - May 18 | 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Open to the public - May 19 | 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m
Open to the public - May 20 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Open to the public - May 21 | 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Checks, cash, major credit cards, and electronic payments such as ApplePay will be accepted.
