Charleston Wine + Food announces 2022 festival plans

Charleston Wine + Food will return in 2022 with a new home for its hub, the Culinary Village. North Charleston’s Riverfront Park will host the festival’s signature destination for 3 days of sipping, tasting and food demos. Culinary Village was previously located at Marion Square in downtown Charleston.

Organizers said the move accommodates the festival’s growth, with convenient access, free parking, space for additional events and more room for festival attendees to roam. North Charleston is providing the park at no charge as a gift to the public.

In addition to Culinary Village, Riverfront Park will also offer the new musical evening event, NightCap. Non-ticket holders will be able to take part in the flavors of the festival at a new food truck “neighborhood” attraction.

The festival is scheduled for March 2-6 2022. The full schedule will be released October 17 and online ticket sales launch October 21 at 11 a.m. Nearly 100 events and experiences are planned for locations in and around greater Charleston, plus a brand new free community event in Marion Square.
