There’s a lot going on this September in Charleston County Parks. Hurry up and reserve a spot for these events before they’re all gone! Many of the events show are tentative and may not be accepting registrations until later.

 

Dog Day Afternoon: Splash Island Session 1

Palmetto Islands County Park
Sat, Sept. 11, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Fee:  $10
Ages:  Any
It’s your dogs’ turn to cool off and enjoy Splash Island for a day at the end of the summer. Select water attractions will open to cool down dogs from the summer heat; owners should not enter the water past knee depth. Concessions will be available for purchase on-site. Be sure to bring a collar, leash, waste bags, and verify vaccinations are up to date. Limited ticket available. Join us for a Virtual Inclusive Dance Party where everyone is invited for fun, friends, and great music via Zoom. On your computer? Make sure you have a webcam! On your smart phone? Come out and enjoy the Wannamaker Dog Park with your furry friend! Enjoy live music from a local Charleston performer and spend some quality time with your pup in the great outdoors. Alcohol will be available for purchase, and a valid ID is required. No outside food or alcohol permitted.
