Something new to taco ’bout in Summerville

Taco fans, rejoice! The ever-popular Taco Boy is expanding again and this time, Summerville will reap the benefits. Their newest space is the first restaurant to open in the Nexton development. Taco Boy Summerville will bring the same festive atmosphere as the original Folly Beach and downtown Charleston locations, but with a special touch that is unique for Summerville. The owners found almost all of their interior decorations in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico on a team research trip last year. Among the finds: an authentic Mexican tortilla-making machine that will soon provide fresh, house-made tortillas for all three Taco Boy locations. Yum!

Another unique touch you’ll find only in this new location is a custom-designed greenhouse patio. The 1,500 square foot space will have a lush, sub-tropical feel but will be covered and insulated. So, you can dine al fresco all year round. Join them for the grand opening fiesta on Wednesday, June 26th and enjoy a live mariachi band, ribbon cutting, face painting and more. Or, stop by seven days a week 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. for inventive tacos, daily specials and popular sides. We recommend the Mexican Street corn. Just make sure you wash it down with one of their delicious cocktails, like the pineapple-infused or Cadiallac margarita. For more details about all three locations or to check out the full menu visit Taco Boy’s website. Now, let’s fiesta!
